About Designer My Beachy Side
My Beachy Side is a design studio that focuses on creating affordable, fashionable hand-crafted swimwear for women. They believe that all women deserve to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, no matter their size, shape, or budget. We started My Beachy Side with the mission of empowering women through fashion. We want to help women feel confident and beautiful, while also providing them with the opportunity to earn a living wage.
My Beachy Side: A mission to empower disadvantaged women
Brian Gamze brought home an awesome idea one day while we were brainstorming together over dinner; he told me about how other entrepreneurs had started their own businesses by leveraging onto something they already know well (in his case “beach”). We talked through all sorts of different ideas until finally landed on telling people where you can find beautiful handmade items right here.
The idea of My Beachy Side came to Gamze Ates, an entrepreneur, and designer from Turkey. She had always loved the handmade crochet made by her grandmother when she was growing up but found that there are not many companies out on today’s market who take sustainable practices into consideration or hire artisans directly which means they don’t receive adequate pay rates for their work as well having little control over what happens with respect founder equity rights etc… With this problem fixed in mind; together we can provide more opportunities than ever before!
How My Beachy Side is Driving Financial Empowerment for Disadvantaged Women
There are nearly 1.5 billion women living in poverty globally. This is a shocking statistic, and it’s one that My Beachy Side is working to change. We believe that all women should have the opportunity to achieve financial empowerment, regardless of their socioeconomic status. That’s why My Beachy Side is committed to providing disadvantaged women with access to education and training that will help them build successful businesses and achieve financial independence.
